Ok nice, i will try a combination of the rubber brush and furminator and possibly look into taking her to a groomer.

Re: Helping out a friend ... mange

He had a skin scrape performed on the dog, and it came back as "demodetic mange". The vet recommended using ivermectin, but he said it has only gotten worse since the treatment started. Is this something that will get worse before getting better?

Re: Helping out a friend ... mange

It seems to me the vet recommended that treatment as well as how to give it.

I will find out more and if he has had a skin scrape done on his dog.

Thanks guys!

Helping out a friend ... mange

From asking the vet and people the verdict seems to be that the dog has mange. Hes tried to solve the issue by giving it IVERMECTIN but it did...

Behavior issues with Coda...

Well I guess it is not really an issue, but more of my own confusion. Several weeks ago I went out of town, and left my dog in the care of a friend. Coda is use to being crated, but recently (3+ months) has been given free roam of the downstairs. She was doing great, no miss haps, no damage to furni...

most of your local pet stores should have a lot of information regarding local trainers. We constantly have trainers coming in providing us with their business cards.... if you are in FL check out some of our recommended trainers: http://baldwinbark.com/?cat=17 if not check out your local pet shop.....
