Re: 2 male litter mates under same roof. Need help.

When you get your video, watch it yourself, slow it down, watch the dogs and what they are doing. This is a perfect tool to learn your dogs signals. I personally do not let my guys play without direct supervision. Why, just this am Rosen decided to spontaneously latch on to Pablo's ear (all in good ...

Re: Think a dog knows who his owner dislikes?

I know a guy who for all intensive purposes seems like a good guy, but none of my dogs like him (as a whole they like everyone), in fact none of my friends dogs like him either. Recently discovered that he has some icky problems with assaulting women. Maybe the dogs knew...

Re: Hyaluronic Acid-anyone use this?

Thanks! I have recently been reading more and more about it, and was wondering what others thought. I supplement for preventative maintenance mostly, but I am aware that one of the dogs has iffy hips, and another has knees worth keeping an eye on. I have a hard time getting Morgan to add (all) the s...

Hyaluronic Acid-anyone use this?

Does anyone here use Hyaluronic Acid as a joint supplement for their dogs? If so what are your impressions? usefulness? Do you combine it with other joint supplements? or use it alone? And have you found a less expensive source?

Thanks!

Re: How too build a carpet mill??

Any more detailed instructions? My old slat mill and my el cheapo electric treadmill took a crap about a month apart, and my dogs are dying of the cold weather blues. I have been seriously considering building one, but would like more input.

Re: Cesar Millan

The only thing Cesar gets right is the "exercise, discipline, affection" principle. Of course, I interpret "discipline" as structure, setting limits, positive training and consistency (NOT physical discipline). I have based my relationship(s) with dogs on that premise for years a...

Re: Feeding Adult kibble to a puppy - any problems?

Depends on the kibble. ALS formulas will support puppy growth just fine. As will some of the higher end foods with more protein and fat. Puppy kibble sometimes is actually more prone to cause issues in some pups as it encourages the pup to grow too fast. I have seen more early joint issues in pups f...

Re: crating...have some problems

If she is good at kongs you can make them more difficult by freezing them. If you pack them tight and freeze them they can keep an average Pit Bull occupied for a couple hours.
