Re: My dog has blown his knee again

Oh, my question was. Has anyone else here had to deal with having the surgery again so soon after the first? The first time we did suture repair because of how hyper he is I was afraid he would do serious damage to a TPLO...now I think I just have to take the chance.

My dog has blown his knee again

And I don't know what to do. He had both knees fixed a little under a year ago, he finally seemed to be back to strength and it has happened again. I just don't know if I can stand to see him go through this surgery again knowing that he is such a complete spaz. It's just about impossible to keep hi...

boarding, training/bootcamps?

I am going to England for 4 weeks in July, my husband was going to be home taking care of Cody. He just found out he is being sent to Afghanistan for a year and he leaves in two weeks...bad enough but now I have no idea what to do with Cody...he is severely attached to us and he's never spent even a...

Re:

There is nothing more rewarding in life than to snuggle up on the couch with your dog only for him to release (what we like to refer to in our home as donkey juice) right on your new pair of jeans. I thought it was water at first and tried to wipe it off with my hand.... BAD, BAD, BAD mistake, lol....

Didn't people mention Bio spot working well? I admit I considered it the other day when I walked by and saw it was only $10 for 4 monthly doses!!

I worry you get what you pay for there though.

We use Advantix and Worm shield but I have been thinking about a switch to Revolution.

My dog was exactly the same...he is super high energy and hated the crate prior to his surgery, he would shake and drool and just walk round and round in circles. For that reason when he needed his ACL repair in December I decided to go with the suture repair...I just didn't trust him to stay calm e...

The usual adoption fee is $100, they will probably need a vet reference/ home check?

Please email Art at art@pitpositive.com, he has all the info you need.

I hope it works out!

2 beautiful boys Polk County FL

I received an e-mail asking if anyone knew anyone willing to foster or adopt these guys.... We are looking for a family who owns their own home, has a fenced back yard and the necessary time to play with these little fellas. And remember, if you decide to adopt, this is a lifetime commitment, not a ...

Cody is on a mix of Blue Wilderness and NV Prairie, he seems to love it and apart from his wonky knees is very healthy.

Cody was only 18 months when his went. He wouldn't use the leg at all, after the surgery (the vet repaired the wrong leg) he was forced to use the injured leg and he did, so just because there is a tear doesn't mean they can't use it...especially when running, or going up stairs. I would try and kee...

Definitely start on those supplements, my dog came up lame on his rear leg and it was a torn ACL I have since learned it's a very common problem. You need to take him to a vet, it won't repair itself if that is what happened.

Good luck, I hope it's not that serious.

I am not going to complain about his abilities as a surgeon, or even as a human being, I genuinely think he is a descent person. But I think people who take their pets to him should be informed of such a severe error. I'm honestly not doing it to be vindictive.

Update Cody went for his left leg surgery on Feb 3rd http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v321/cav69/Codysleg008.jpg Everything is going well, the vet who wanted me to sign a waiver to get the refund actually told us to just come get the check and we didn't have to sign anything, his insurance is payin...

The dogs beds are fantastic value. I've been thinking about Kirkland...$22 for 40lbs compared with the $58 I just paid for 25lbs of Blue Wilderness...Is the food that good? Maybe I could do 1/2 & 1/2.
