Active puppies can stay pretty lean.. For safety sake I dont give my girls pig ears, nylabone, or anything of the sort.. Good :) Im glad to be getting such positive feedback about Canidae.. Its definantly the most bang for your buck around here as far as quality/cost :)

How long have they been eating it? Have you considered supplementing with salmon oil? I know that often improves the coat, as well as having many other benefits. If their energy is up, and everything else is going well, I really wouldn't worry too much about their coats, but you might try the salmo...

imho-- as long as you're seeing regular bowel movements, you should be fine.. If not, I would be worried about a bowel obstruction
