Re: Favorite winter doggie clothes?

We'll be moving to Wyoming in a few months and neither one of our dogs has ever experienced winter. I've been told the winters in WY can be rough (this is probably especially true for us, coming from HI). From what I've read, it seems the wind in WY is what really chills. For you folks in windy, col...

Re: what to do for dry skin other than fish oil?

Organic Coconut Oil is amazing. Our dogs love the taste and their skin and coats look great. We sometimes combine salmon oil with coconut oil, but salmon oil seems to suffice in HI.

Re: Biking with your bully

So after many months of talking about getting a walkydog or similar bike attachment and after a wonderful, long and successful bike ride with Faye this morning, we went online and purchased two 1-running-dog bike tow leashes from the website below. http://www.thedogoutdoors.com/dog-bike-leash.html" ...

Re: Top 5 Foods

Our dogs do very well on Blue Buffalo and TOTW. Unfortunately, TOTW is hard to find on the island and tends to be very pricey - but the dogs look amazing when they're on it! Blue Buffalo is great as well and is riiight in our budget- it's what we're feeding currently.

Re: Eating too Quickly?

I've heard that putting a large rock in the middle of the food dish slows them down since they have to eat around it. Also putting some warm water in the dry food will make them eat slower too. Our boy, Plato, eats extremely fast and would sometimes choke or vomit his kibble up right after eating. ...

Re: Feeding Raw

@ lilangel: About how much are you spending each month on the organic/raw ingredients to feed them? In Hawaii, it takes some digging around to find organic foods, especially at an affordable price! I've been curious about feeding raw for a while - it just seems daunting. :huh?: ProudMommy77 - I gues...

Re: Can't find the perfect diet???

We rotate between TOTW and Natural Balance LID (right now they're eating Duck & Potato). We've been searching for an organic food in the same price range.

Anyone hear of or try Organix?

Re: Two Weeks! Give em a break! :0 )

Soo...I am posting here again because we just unexpectedly adopted an APBT. On the 14th of July she'll be 6 months old. The man we got her from said he didn't really spend time training her. She knows sit and that's about it. I know that with puppies this process is a bit different. Please advise. :...
