The calming cap is WONDERFUL!
It saves us on car rides. What's funny, most people who have been around horses 'get it', everyone else think poor Capone is Hannibal Lechter.

Re: Socializing a Dog in a "yuppy" area.. lol
There are so many posts here about socialization and manners. I'd do a quick search to check out the posts first. The recommendations on positive meetings and how to address issues are a plenty. One thing I would do and you'll read about it too in the posts is letting people know you are in 'trainin...

Re: No-Pull harnesses
We used to use the Easy Walk as it was easy to find, and 'worked' until Flower came along. It did not matter if that harness was on correctly, reversed or even a little tight. She could get out of it. She was like Houdini. Many may say, oh you did not have it on right. But I read in several places w...

Re: My pup has no tail.
As for balance, no I don't believe that is an issue, but 'communication' I can see as a difficulty. Because there is no tail, you can't use it as an indicator of emotion and behavior. Plus, you can't get beat with happy tail

Airline Crates
There was a question posed to my local shelter group. "Have any of you flown your pit bull type on a commercial airline? If so, what type of crate did you use (apparently some airlines require "reinforced" crates)? Any other tips for keeping your dog comfortable on a flight?" I r...

I had a friend share the same recipe but I'm cautious. Does it not lighten colors in fabrics and carpets?

Re: PetSmart people, where is PetZyme???
Just a little note. I've never been so frustrated. I wish PetsMart did a better job of marketing stuff or letting its customers know about the changes. BUT I've been using the 'new' product (#3) and it works. I don't like she smell as much but it's not overpowering. But it works :) http://img.tapata...

Re: Low Fat Food Choices
oh my, looks like we've got off topic. Let's get away from the fat/no-fat slinging. So, the last day I've been feeding 1/4 C of the Annamaet with each meal. There has also been MAJOR stimuli in the yard, so unfortunately I can't gauge the poop. Stupid DEER!!!! (MissKiwi, tell that 10-pointer his fri...
