Re: Sweet Steel Magnolia - still looking

*Bump for Magnolia* Who sounds like the perfect pit to me. I love mature dogs, they are so easy, calm and appreciative. Anyone who is considering a pup as a first bully breed - a lady like Magnolia would be SO much easier.

Re: Work to eat toys

Oohh this is exciting. We have the Kong wobbler - Chi Chi empties it really quickly. She hits it really hard with her paw so it spins around and sprays food out. She also empties the buster cube super fast even on hard setting. I am talking about 7 mins max and its empty. She also bit the wobbler cl...

Re: Peanut Butter to go :)

Just ordered the GoToob on ebay and am now discussing all Chi Chi favorite treats we can whiz up in the magic bullet until it goes in the tube. Ham and the powdered PB2 made sloppy and she might just give up being reactive on leash. Something really smelly, that she will only ever get on walks to ma...

Re: Peanut Butter to go :)

For the peanut butter loving dogs who don't need the extra calories try: PB2 dried peanut butter 85% less fat than normal. We recently got some from our local health shop and my partner and our neighbor swear it tastes just as good ( i don't eat PB so I cant know). We paid a crazy $7 for it but I fo...

Re: Demodectic stray pup

Google "Dermacton", its the best for hair regrowth. One of my dogs had bald ear tips when we rescued him and it got the fur back quite quickly and it stopped him scratching them. I also use it on rashes that both the bullies we have owned seem prone to it worked for all 3 dogs. The only do...

Re: ear cleaning??

Our vet recommends we clean all of our dogs ears once a week, erect and floppy ears. There are lots of cleaning solutions in the pet stores or your vet will sell you some.

Mine just expect it now, same as teeth cleaning. Not appreciated but they let me do because they know a chicken treat follows ;)

Fire surivor pups in Fowlerville MI

Just thought I would post these 3 they are so adorable and though it says "boxer, retriever" I think they look a little more familiar. Their foster Moms house burned down and only these 3 made it out alive: The latest video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-CnlQ80U2w They are waiting for n...

Re: Riddle's Mast Cell Tumor...

I found another lump on Riddle just a little while ago, on her left shoulder blade. :crybaby: I'm a complete mess, I left a message for my vet so hopefully we can get in tomorrow. We looked into Zeolite, but I decided against it. There are a lot of good reviews on it, but also a lot of scary eviden...

Re: Riddle's Mast Cell Tumor...

Look into liquid Zeolite. We gave it to one of our dogs when our vet thought she had cancer of the spleen. We gave it to her for a week and the difference in her was amazing. Unfortunately she died from a bleed out after waking up from surgery (spleenectomy), about an hour before we were due to coll...

Re: Sweet Steel Magnolia - still looking

What a beauty! I would of snapped her up last year if she had been available. Not sure we could go to 5 dogs, Chi Chi is still quite the handful. But the calming influence sounds like a dream come true. We had that with our elder pit who passed away last year. If she was in MI, I would not be able t...
