Re: Top 5 Foods
i just started feeding " whole earth farms by Merrick" what do you guys think about this food? is it worth 42 dollars for 35 lbs of it? i don't mind paying out that much, as long as it is doing it's job in aiding immunity, digestive health, and general all around health and energy. it's a ...

they aren't putting you second by ignoring your command that they very well know they heard the first time? i don't buy it. i think it's all about the money really, to cause people to run to trainers and pay out ass loads of money to correct it.why do scientists and doctors say a certain pill will ...

Re: OFFICIAL e-collar debate thread
I don't see how Dakota comes in as I have worked with him a long time and I can now walk him through a crowded area without a problem. And no, a dog barking lunging, pulling, isn't dominating you. Contrary to popular belief, aggressive dogs are NOT trying to assert their dominance over their canine...

Re: OFFICIAL e-collar debate thread
I have nothing against Negative punishment discipline.Removing something the dog wants. Dominance is defined by the ability to control or regulate access to resources. And correcting aggression? How does that help when you should be trying to change the emotional reaction to the stimulus. If they r...

Re: OFFICIAL e-collar debate thread
Perhaps watching less Cesar and learning more about dog behavior and what drives it would be incredibly helpful. nice pun, but i wasn't pointing that towards you.it was for people that could gain something from it. if it didn't offend you because of some weird reason, you wouldn't of had to put you...

Re: OFFICIAL e-collar debate thread
So, you're doing Schutzhund I guess? Excellent. When you say "the 'cookie cookie' approach didn't work," I have some questions that I hope you'll answer. 1) How do you know it didn't work for your dog? What did "it's not working" look like, in your dog's case? 2) Have you had su...

Re: ear cleaning??
PetSmart does not support puppy mills. We don't sell any puppies/dogs or cats. We have cats available for adoption through a local adoption agency and we have dog rescue groups come in on certain weekends. We also have a fund called PetSmart Charities where customers and employees donate money to c...

Re: ear cleaning??

I used Epi-otic as well but we don't clean ears unless they need it, a little dust and dirt living in the desert is nothing to blink an eye at. i didnt see...

Re: ear cleaning??

ear cleaning??
this is my first dog with erect ears, so i've been wondering if there are any home solutions for cleaning mildly dirty ears, they aren't filthy, or infected or anything, but dirt does attach itself to the inside, or does it have to be professionally done?
