Re: sudden onset of "SA"

I am not sure if im right or wrong but wont hurt to try. A week ago my 3 month old pup almost did the same thing. He did NOT want to stay in hes crate. We tried 3 days in a row and he would cry and stuff all night and would not sleep unless we let him on our bed. Well we wash/clean hes blanket and c...

New or old injury?

I have somehow been blind this whole time. After teaching my puppy "paw", he seemed like he always raised hes right paw in the air when I made him "sit". I taught he was trying to give me "paw", but today I noticed that there is something wrong with his paw. Today for t...

Re: A Variety of Leash Training Methods

ok cool! When should he start being more on point you think? Working daily on leash manners, rewarding for position and building upon impulse control, can take up to a full year to have a dog that is reliable in every situation. Its a foreign and complex task we are asking of them. A 12 week old pu...

The training wont kill the dog only make him better. You dont have to have him off leash, when your walking them.

Re: Dog language, a guide/article/whatever that I wrote

Amazing read! I took about a full page of notes. I will live with this information forever and appreciate it. One question I have for you. My puppy Max at 11 weeks does not seem to submit fully. He goes on his back while playing with dogs, he tucks hes hail, pulls back the ears, but at the same time...

Re: Help... dogfight

***sings*** One of these is not like the other. Maximus how can you offer advise like that when you don't even know what it looks like when your dog plays with another. Perhaps a little more research is in order for you. It is our job as an owner to protect these dogs. If the OP left his dogs to wo...

Re: Help... dogfight

I would say DO NOT SEPARATE. Your supposed to correct them and stop the problem at level one. Whoever started the fight, closely watch him/her. Before the fight starts stop it. keep repeating the "scene" where the fight started to brew. This should fix the problem within a few days. If you...

I love all dogs and need one in my life i think. The reason why i got a pit is to change peoples minds about the breed.
