Question for the packaged raw feeders

Hi. I was wondering how much it runs you to feed one dog, for a month? How much would a 9 month old need per serving? I am looking into this as an option for Moose, but we are living on one income right now. I already spend almost as much on his food as I do ours. I am not comfertable with making my...

Would like opinions on how Moose rates behavior wise

Moose is now 9 months and 11 days old. I don't have anyone local to comapre notes with, so I would like to get your opinions on how he compares with your dogs. Training He still doesn't always listen to me, but he will do down on command, 70% of the time now. He sits 80%, and stays (inside) 90%. I h...

Thanks so much to all of you

I guess I was kind of on the wrong page when it comes to socialization. I have been doing what I quess to be the right thing. I don't let Moose get close enough to strange dogs for a fight to happen, and he only gets to be near dogs he's know since he was a puppy, and then he is still alays leashed....

Protein percentages

To Gatorpit

You mentioned knowing your dogs body language. I am trying to learn to reconize it in Moose. Would you mind describing what your dog, dogs do that tip you off to how they are feeling in the moment? Ecspecially any aggression signs, if any of yours are DA?

Thanks for all the replies

I have learned from your repsonses. I already had been told that just because Moose likes dogs now, doean't mean he will forever. I already had an event with him that showed not all dogs will be tolorated. I am still left wondering if it was just normal dog behavior though. The other dog was on our ...

Okay, I know this is probably going to be controversial, but

try to be kind in your replies. There is something that has been bothering me for a while now. I have asked on here about different ways to socialize Moose. Dog parks are out, daycare is out, and some recommended play groups but I've gotten relplies from other owners , who said that wasn't a good id...

Thanks for the replies. I will ask for advantix when I take him in next month. I crate Moose at night, so they will be apart until it is dry. Thanks again.

Um, it's kind of hard no tto walk by her house, as she is my next door neighbor. I do try to avoid her house while out walking with Moose. I got him from a breeder.

Thank you for replying. I don't think I will be able to use that kind, because I have an eight month old kitten at home. I read the olther post about the fact that obe of the ingred, is toxic to cats. She is constantly rubbing up against Moose, so it would be all over her too. Thanks again.

Mosqitos(I have no idea how to spell)

Moose is getting eaten alive by blood suckers. I have him on frontline, and I spray him with Adams Flea and tick spray. Is there anything that works?

I did try Moose on the halti, but as I described in my post, he didn't have it on long enough to really tell if it helped. He bit throught...

Oh, and after puppy class, he listened fine as long as there were no distractions. He really didn't act any differently in the store. If we were out in the public area of the store, I would have to spend the whole time trying to get him to focus, which usually didn't work.

We never learned heel. The only thing she taught me was the "finish" part of heel. Which she said was really the beginning. (confused yet?) Basically it was, #1 have your dog sit #2 take a step back #3 Lure your dog around with a treat, until he ended up at your side #4 have him sit So now...
