Re: My dog isn't aggressive, but gets very rough during playtime.

I would imagine that cool down periods would certainly help, all I was saying is that you can never take anything for granted, always use caution, if you ignore Bonnie she will keep rubbing her side on you and her daughter Tuppence is always demanding cuddles, sounds like you have yourself a really ...

Re: My dog isn't aggressive, but gets very rough during playtime.

Re: Well, I did it-

I have yet to see a dog it doesn't work with, if done in the right way! :)) I will say that most of mine were born in my house, so going in a crate for the night is second nature, but it also worked with the ones that weren't born here, including my rescues :)) Hope you have many brilliant years wit...

Re: Well, I did it-

Re: New, nervous...

Yes absolutely, proceed with caution & as long as he is raised with the other dog & the cat there shouldn't be a problem, always keep an eye on general body language despite what people say APBTs do show body language, no matter how subtle, you seem you know what you are doing & it would...

Re: New, nervous...

Yes absolutely calm down  If you want to get the puppy then by all means go for it, as long as the kids interact with the pup in a positive manner & are advised to do so, there shouldn't be a problem, never leave a child unattended with a dog whatever the breed.. very important, for me it'...
