Re: Who wants to make me a collar!? =)

Do you want dressed up or dressed down? Are you going to be doing any work with him? How is he doing with obedience and walking/heeling? Will it ever be used as a tie out collar? Do you want bombproof, decorative, stitched, lined, or padded? And if you want pink or purple, or anything other than the...

To me that seems a very reasonable price! :)

Re: Muzzle?

Tammy from BIN? lol She's like THE orlo source! It just baffles me that here in Onscario, there isn't a decent muzzle maker to be had! Seriously!! Every muzzle I've used on Taffy has caused her harm in one way or another. She can't wear her Hot Dog's All Dressed one anymore because it rubs and caus...

Re: Muzzle?

I was supposed to have designed something months ago! lol, just havent had time, that was right around the time my daughter began having health issues, but thats another story... One day, I'll get to it! Hardest part for me, is being able to make them for a fair price. I know the Orlos are difficult...

Re: Muzzle?

I really like the Orlo style. I have been trying to find the time to make my own muzzles but it hasnt happened.

It sounds like what you would be wanting is more of a compliance muzzle, I think the Orlo would be great for that.

Re: Muzzle?

For a nice leather muzzle...be willing to pay around $100...it will last forever and ever AND are much better than the cheap ones you'll have to replace. I just got mine from a member of our club, he brought it back from Germany, Very nicely made but it is Hannibal Lectorish looking. lol I'll have ...

Re: Thick collars

How wide, how thick and what kind of padding? I have some leather that is 1/4" thick, I can cut straps as wide as you want, and collars can be padded and lined with deer skin, kid skin, or heavy wool felt. The draw back is my turn around is about 6 weeks right now, and with others, you can prob...

I have some cobra here too I've been wanting to use. I like the color of thhat, mine is white-er-ish. Did you use saddle skirting for the base I guess? I'm thinking about black harness leather with the one I have.

Re: Long leash

Check cords are great! Gun Dog Supply is good, and another is Lion Country Supply. http://www.lcsupply.com/Product/Collars-Leads-Check-Cords/Tangle-Proof-Check-Cords.html This what I have. You can order them longer than the 20 ft. I have never had rope burn. But I always wear gloves and jeans... and...

Re: Making and Selling Break Sticks?

I have often considered getting a break stick, I've never had one and have had my hand fractured breaking up a dog fight cuz I put my hands in their mouths.

I like the idea of hand made stuff and each piece being unique in that regard.
