Re: Flirt pole advise

Thanks, guys! I'll see what I can do about a spring pole...we live in an apartment complex so it makes it a little more difficult, but there's a nice field next to us where I could do something. We go for long walks, but that's mostly to work out his anxiety about new places. He gets most of his ene...

No more heat spots and rashes!

I wish pitties weren't so prone to skin issues, but alas, they are. I just want to share my experience with what has worked for me with my little guy. Gunnar is 4 months old and shortly after I got him, he developed an awful red rash on his under belly and in his armpits. His hind legs were horribly...

Flirt pole advise

Hey guys! My little fella, Gunnar, just turned 4 months old (awww). I made up a flirt pole for him and he likes it for short intervals (10-15 minutes) and is the best source of exercise I've found for him so far. However, I recently read that it's not recommended for a pup under 1 year of age to use...

Re: Peeing: How often is too often?

He's been to the vet once, but is going again for the rest of his shots. He's crate trained, he loved it from the very first day and hardly required any extra work for it at all :) I'll mention it to the vet when we go again, fingers crossed that its just a puppy thing! Thanks for all the advise guy...

Re: Peeing: How often is too often?

Four times a day, morning, afternoon, late afternoon, evening. He gets about 2 cups a day of Purina Pro Plan. I'm glad to hear its normal though, its been a long time since I've had a puppy this little :) anybody have any tips for getting him house trained more efficiently? I was thinking about bell...

Peeing: How often is too often?

Hey guys! So I got my little fella, Gunnar, about three weeks ago. He's almost 4 months old now, but since I've gotten him, he seems to be having a worse and worse time with potty training. I was taking him out every 3-4 hours and he wasn't having a problem, but within this past week, he goes every ...

Newbie!

Hey everybody! My name is Kaila and I stumbled upon this forum while looking for a good community of Pit lovers like myself. About two weeks ago, I adopted my little guy, Gunnar. He is almost 4 months old and a pure bred Staffordshire. My boyfriend and I have just moved to Texas and one of my movers...
