Hi! And :welcome: there is a thread around here called "Two weeks give'em a break" that might be a good source of information for you. Be sure to check the note at the top though because of Gunner's age you may need to make some adjustments. I understand a new puppy is exciting but he likely needs some serious adjustment time. That coupled with the fact that he's super sick, it may be best if he stays home and really gets to know your family. I think it's awesome that you've welcomed him into your home and that he's finally getting some vet care. I hope he fits seamlessly into your family.

Just checked-Gunner should be old enough for the shut down-don't worry, even though you've had him a couple days it isn't too late to start. You may also be interested in the dog park thread.
