heading to the working dog club tomorrow...

Postby ilikelily » Tue Aug 24, 2010 9:22 am

... to do some bite work with a rottie! Then we are brining him home for a trial sleepover:)

I am soooooo excited!
We have not trained since December with Max. I know it's going to be bitter sweet, being there with out him.

And it's going to be so different. Max was a 50 lb., half blind, ancient, pittie with a bad leg. The rottie we are going to handle is a young and probably about 100 lbs.!

Took the rottie boy out for another walk this evening... he is just so squishy. I am so interested to see how he does at bitework tomorrow. I know he is going to act like a crazy puppy in the house (because that is how he acts at the boarding facility), which did I mention we only do seniors here.... not immature rottie boys! lol The next 24 hrs. should be interesting indeed. :))

So is the Rottie a potential keeper for you? :)
Love the pic of Max, he was such a beautiful boy.

Thanks Julie. :)
Yes, he is a potential keeper. He is perfect, just not sure if we are ready for another yet.
